dare to be different - Kezani Real Weddings - Allison and Brent

I adore this shot and I love, love Allison's shoes from Marie Claire in Claremont.

This gorgeous wedding of Allison and Brent was just filled with unique design touches. Allison, works in the fashion industry and had designed many elements herself, including her headpiece!

Allison came into the Kezani store with a picture and sketch of what she wanted. A unique, cage veil finished with a brooch piece on either side. To create this shape, I wired a frame to attach the netting. The net was then embellished with small Swarovski crystals and wa-lah a masterpiece was born! I so excited to see Allison's photos to see how it all came together.

Our stunning bride, this pic shows off the headpiece beautifully.

Allison's gown was designed by herself and made by her Aunty. Bodice is detailed with raw chiffon, wispy flowers and delicate beading, full open back and beaded straps.

Hair and make up was by Joanne Banks at HairArt Studio - The Vines. The hairstyle was quite intricate with loops and braids.

Allison's bouquets were by Brooch Beautiful in the USA.

You can find some amazing touches for weddings if you search high and low! These divine lapel pins were from Etsy, Didi art corner. I love how the colours are intricately entwined and I think they are a fantastic alternative to fresh flowers.

The bridesmaids wore a teal gown with a stunning tulle cape shoulder line detailed with crystal embellishment. The pop of coral contrast in the flowers worked a treat!

We asked Allison what her favourite part of the day was?

"My favourite part of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing Brent for the first time and him seeing me. Brent met me at the top of the red (cream) carpet and we walked down to the celebrant together"

Finally, we asked Allison what her one piece of advice would be to help new brides-to-be? "My advice would be, to enjoy every moment, from planning to the end of your day. You blink and it's gone, and you can never get it back. Only memories and re-looking at photos, I wish I could do it all over again!"
